As noted before, the July 21st WWE RAW show featured Grayson Waller announcing that A-Town Down Under are no longer a team and Austin Theory is currently out with an undisclosed injury.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Theory was recently removed from WWE’s active internal roster. Johnson reported that the specific nature of Theory’s injury is currently not known.
Johnson reported that being removed from the active internal roster can often indicate a long-term abscense or a potential departure from the company. Johnson also reported that there has been no official word about Theory’s contract status from his sources.
Fightful Select reported that their sources provided some additional details and clarification regarding Theory’s current status in WWE.
It was reported that those spoken to stated that Theory is still part of WWE’s roster and he is currently listed among injured talent alongside names like Zoey Stark and Ilja Dragunov.
