As noted before, Eddie Kingston has been out of action for AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling since May of 2024 due to a broken leg, torn ACL, and torn meniscus injuries and surgery. Kingston recently resumed training for his in-ring return in the future.
This past Saturday’s AEW Collision show at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania featured a backstage promo segment involving Big Bill and Bryan Keith. During his promo, Big Bill issued a challenge to Eddie Kingston for a match in the future.
Kingston responded earlier today on Instagram stating that he has signed the match contract and asked for Bill to send him the location for it.
“So got the phone call and the money is right contract is signed on my end. So Big Bill you dumb goofy bastard just send loctation.”
