Rey Mysterio Torn Groin & Torn Abductor Injury & Return Plans Update
As noted before, Rey Mysterio has been out of action for WWE since this past April due to a torn groin injury and torn abductor surgery.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Mysyerio is very close to making his in-ring return from injury.
Johnson reported that Mysterio is currently scheduled to be at WWE’s Performance Center next week as part of his rehab process.
WWE’s Current Events Schedule Plans for Rest of 2025
WrestleVotes Radio reported that their sources stated that WWE officials currently do not have any plans to hold their traditional annual day after Christmas house show event at Madison Square Garden this year.
It was reported that the reason is due to WWE will be holding a show at the legendary venue on November 17th instead for a live episode of WWE RAW that features John Cena’s final MSG appearance in his wrestling career.
In regards to WWE’s counter-programming of AEW events this year, it was reported that WWE officials also currently do not have any plans at the moment to run any more head-to-head PLEs against AEW pay-per-view events after Wrestlepalooza for the remainder of this year.
A&E WWE Programming Ratings – September 7, 2025
This past Sunday’s WWE LFG episode drew 75,000 viewers on A&E. This episode also drew a 0.02 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
This down compared to last week’s episode of 87,000 viewers but equal to last week show’s rating.
This past Sunday’s WWE Greatest Moments doubleheader first episode drew 125,000 viewers on A&E. This episode also drew a 0.02 rating in the 18-49 demographic. This episode focused on Goldberg.
This up compared to last week’s doubleheader first episode of 118,000 viewers but equal to last week show’s rating.
This past Sunday’s WWE Greatest Moments doubleheader second episode drew 111,000 viewers on A&E. This episode also drew a 0.02 rating in the 18-49 demographic. This episode focused on WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
