As noted before, Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite 6th Anniversary show at the Hard Rock Live At Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood in Hollywood, Florida featured Andrade El Idolo making his surprise return to AEW and being revealed as the newest member of the Don Callis Family.
Fightful Select reported that their sources confirmed that Andrade has signed a new contract with AEW and will be full-time with the company going forward.
In regards to Andrade’s release from WWE, it was reported that he did not have a non-compete clause as part of terms for his release. This reportedly allowed Andrade to be able to make an immediate return to the ring and be able to join AEW again.
Prior to his return, Andrade previously worked for AEW from June of 2021 to December of 2023.
