As noted before, Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show featured Kota Ibushi suffering a serious leg injury that was later confirmed to be a broken femur and Ibushi had already underwent surgery for it.
Ibushi provided an update earlier today on Instagram stating that he is currently expected to need one year to fully recover and at least two years before he can make a potential in-ring return.
“My current condition. One year to fully recover. Two years until I can step into the ring again. I believe in myself more than the doctors. I absolutely don’t believe in that. I know I have amazing DNA that gives me the ability to heal!!”
