As noted before, Raja Jackson, son of former UFC fighter Quintin “Rampage” Jackson, was involved in an incident over him legit assaulting a pro wrestler named Syko Stu, real name Stuart Smith, at an event for KnokX Pro Wrestling this past August. Stu was released from the hospital this past August and has been recovering at his home. WWE pulled their WWE ID affiliation with KnokX Pro following the incident. Jackson was arrested and charged with a felony this past September.
The Los Angeles Times reported that Jackson will be charged today with one count of felony battery and one count of misdemeanor battery.
It was reported that prosecutors will also seek a “sentencing enhancement because Jackson allegedly caused Stuart Smith to suffer great bodily injury.” A criminal complaint reportedly is expected to be filed on Tuesday according to the district attorney’s office.
Jackson reportedly is currently scheduled to appear in court for an arrangement hearing this week.
