AJ Lee Gives Reason for Her Current WWE Abscense

AJ Lee has been noticeably absent from WWE since this past September’s Wrestlepalooza event.

Lee provided an update earlier today on Facebook stating that the reason why she has been absent from WWE is not due to any injury-related reason and instead she is currently busy with a book tour.

“On a book tour. Not injured, but I appreciate the concern. Also, thanks Becky Lynch for keeping the title warm for me. Momma will be back, soon.”

WWE Teasing Storyline Feud Between Becky Lynch & Referee Jessika Carr Over Lynch’s Recent Matches Losses

WWE is currently teasing a storyline feud between current WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch and WWE referee Jessika Carr.

Lynch recently has been blaming WWE referee Jessika Carr for her recently losses to Maxxine Durpi and AJ Lee claiming referee bias against her.

Following her disqualification loss to Maxxine Dupri to retain her title at this past Monday’s WWE RAW show, Lynch responded on Instagram once again blaming Carr for why she lost the match.

“In the match, clear as day, everybody saw it. Maxxine closed-fist punch to my face, an illegal maneuver. Jessika Carr should have disqualified her. What’s more, an illegal maneuver with an illegal object. I verified this through experts, through nail technicians. They have verified that the nails that Maxxine Dupri was wearing would cause intense damage to the lip.”

Carr responded earlier today on Twitter about the claims being made against her by Lynch and mocked Lynch for blaming her for her recent losses without actually naming Lynch.

“I don’t say a lot or stir up issues….but it’s wild that someone keeps talking about me….when all they’ve been doing is tapping out, getting counted out, and taking the easy way out by getting disqualified. But I’m the problem?”

R-Truth Comments on His Ron Killings Character Storyline Went Where It Was Supposed To Go for His WWE Return

As noted before, R-Truth made his surprise return to WWE at this past June’s Money in the Bank 2025 following him departing the company earlier that month after his contract was not renewed. R-Truth cut off his braids and declared himself as Ron Killings at the June 9th WWE RAW show.

SHAK Wrestling held a recent interview with R-Truth. One of the topics discussed included R-Truth’s thoughts about his Ron Killings character in WWE and where he had hoped the character would have gone for his return to the company.

“Where it went to. It went where it was supposed to go to. The Ron Killings (character) was created, he created R-Truth. You see what I’m saying? So it’s like those hundreds of millions of fans that spoke, that uproar, that they wanted R-Truth back. Ron Killings was the rebellion, the one that spoke up for R-Truth. Ron has been Ron the Truth Killings, Ron Killings has been around for years. People grew up, like, generations. They never came together and locked it, like, they did that for R-Truth. You feel me? So I wanted Ron Killings to go where he was supposed to go. He made the statement. He had the eyes on him and just like with storylines, when John Cena came back, R-Truth came back. Ron Killings just led the cavalry. That’s all that was.”
