As noted before, MJF has been absent for AEW since this past September’s All Out 2025 event due to filming commitments for the upcoming new Violent Night 2 film.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that MJF was originally expected to return to AEW in the weeks following their initial report this past November. WrestleVotes Live on Fightful Select reported that as of this past Thanksgiving 2025 week, AEW officials currently have factored MJF into their creative plans for this month’s Worlds End 2025 event.
It was reported that the extent of MJF’s involvement at the upcoming event is currently not known but there have been working plans for him to be involved in some form.
AEW’s Worlds End 2025 event will be taking place on December 27th at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
