New Japan Pro Wrestling announced earlier today that tickets for their upcoming Wrestle Kingdom 20 event has officially reached sold out status.
Wrestle Kingdom 20 will be taking place on January 4, 2026 at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan and will be featuring Hiroshi Tanahashi’s retirement match against Kazuchika Okada.

In regards to ticket sales, Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that next year’s event has already broken the all-time attendance and gate record for a Wrestle Kingdom event in NJPW history. Meltzer also reported that Wrestle Kingdom 20 will also become the best attendance NJPW has had for an event since the Antonio Inoki retirement show in 1998.
