Michael Cole & Corey Graves Fills In for Joe Tessitore & Wade Barrett

Monday’s taped WWE RAW show featured SmackDown brand commentators Michael Cole and Corey Graves filling in for Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett.

The reason for Cole and Graves filling in was due to WWE had taped this week’s show on Friday, December 19th as part of their double set of RAW and SmackDown tapings in Grand Rapids, Michigan.


Austin Theory Reveals Why He Helped The Vision

Monday’s taped WWE RAW show also featured Austin Theory revealing his reasons for helping The Vision in recent weeks.

During the show, The Vision’s Paul Heyman, “Big” Bronson Reed, and Bron Breakker were seen walking in the parking garage of the venue. All three looked at a mystery person off-screen and Heyman told Reed and Breakker for them to warm up inside and he will handle this. Heyman walked up to this mystery person who was revealed to be Theory. Heyman asked what he is doing and Theory responded stating that he wanted people to feel his actions before they saw his face. Theory continued stating that he has made some bad decisions, got comfortable, and got injured. Theory stated then he saw The Vision and how they didn’t wait for anything, they took. Theory continued stating that now he takes and wants to take the opportunity to help The Vision tonight. Heyman responded with a shrug and stated “interesting, very interesting” and walked away.


Je’Von Evans Revealed “Soon To Be” Free Agent

Monday’s taped WWE RAW show also featured the announcement of NXT talent Je’Von Evans will be a free agent soon and can sign with either the RAW or SmackDown brand.

This announcement was revealed during the pre-show arrivals segment featuring Evans walking backstage and Michael Cole saying that Evans is soon to be a free agent in WWE.


Becky Lynch vs. Maxxine Dupri for WWE Women’s IC Title Announced for Jan. 5, 2026 WWE RAW Show

Monday’s taped WWE RAW show also featured one new match announced for the card of the January 5, 2026 show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

This new match announced was a WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship match of Becky Lynch vs. Maxxine Dupri (c).

This new match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over Dupri and Lynch’s bad blood issues with each other. During tonight’s show, Lynch came out to the ring and aired her grievances over her title loss and claimed that she is still the real champion. This led to Dupri coming out and brought up how she’s beaten Lynch three times already and has no problem doing it again and for Lynch to name the place. This led to a brawl breaking out between the two that ended with Dupri locking in an Ankle Lock and making Lynch tap out again.

In a follow-up segment, it was announced that Dupri will be defending her title against Lynch at the January 5, 2026 RAW show.
