EVIL has been absent from New Japan Pro Wrestling since his loss to Aaron Wolf for the NEVER Openweight Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 20 earlier this month. EVIL has been rumored to be looking at options for the future of his wrestling career outside of NJPW.
Bryan Alvarez reported in a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Live that his sources stated that EVIL is currently rumored to be leaving NJPW and heading to WWE soon.
“By the way, EVIL might be on his way out of New Japan, and it is strongly rumored that he is on his way to WWE.”
The Super J-Cast reported that their sources confirmed that EVIL recently gave his notice to NJPW informing them he will be leaving the company.
EVIL has been with NJPW since 2011.
