A recent episode of the AEW Up Close with Renee Paquette show featured The Rascalz (Myron Reed, Zachary Wentz, & Dezmond Xavier) as the guests. One of the topics discussed included The Rascalz’s thoughts about who they are looking forward to seeing the most again in AEW.
Zachary Wentz – “Eddie Kingston …”
Dezmond Xavier – “He was one of the veterans that was still traveling around and bestowing knowledge, not only in-ring, but backstage of life. Those are the blessings you get to have when you get to travel around. We were lucky enough to be on the live shows with him. We built a really great relationship with him.”
Wentz – “He got the Rascalz dialed in a little bit. Someone there to give you that check [keep you in line], you know?”
The Rascalz also gave their thoughts about their choices for potential dream match opponents in AEW.
Xavier – “I mean, we’ve got some history with the Bucks already, so it’d be nice to uh to run it back with them. And do it on TV, be able to showcase on TV, you know.“
Wentz – “It’s a lot different. We were at PWG, and we had those matches with them and you think at that time like, ‘oh, everybody’s going to know,’ but then when you’re on television and it’s a worldwide thing. It’s just now everyone will really know. I’d like to mix it up with like FTR cause we’ve never had anything with them. And then I see online a lot of people are talking about Jet Speed, which I have a lot of history with Speedball Mike Bailey. Definitely would enjoy that as well.“
