As noted before, Trey Miguel recently announced that he is taking a break from wrestling and was recently released from his contract with AEW. Miguel’s release was speculated online to be due to past controversial homophobic and antisemitic comments he made on Twitter that had resurfaced online following his signing with AEW. Miguel’s release decision was believed to have come from Warner Bros Discovery instead of from anyone in AEW.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that TNA officials have been in talks to potentially bring back Miguel to their company.
No other details were given regarding the status of the talks between TNA and Miguel nor a potential return date for Miguel.
Miguel previosly worked for TNA from August of 2017 to December of 2025.
