Finn Balor Comments on AJ Styles’ Retirement Made Him Realize His Career Days Are Numbered
SHAK Wrestling held a recent interview with Finn Balor. One of the topics discussed included Balor’s thoughts about how AJ Styles’ recent retirement from wrestling made him realize that his time left on his own wrestling career is nearing its end.
“Seeing him (AJ Styles) retire kind of made it bring it home to me that my days are numbered too. Because, you know, AJ’s been kind of an ever-present for me for the last 20, 25 years. So it kind of got me thinking about my story in the business and what I need to do, and there’s a lot of talk about ‘finishing the story’ in wrestling. But I feel like my story doesn’t need to be finished. It needs to be completely rewritten because I have this massive stain on my career from 10 years ago when I got hurt and I had to relinquish the Universal Championship…”

Tiffany Stratton Comments on Her Time Off From WWE Was “So Amazing” For Her Mental & Physical Health
As noted before, Tiffany Stratton made her surprise return to WWE at this past January’s Royal Rumble 2026 event in Saudi Arabia. Prior to her return, Stratton had been absent from WWE since this past November.
Unlikely’s Adrian Hernandez held a recent interview with Stratton. One of the topics discussed included Stratton’s thoughts about her recent abscense from WWE and how her time off was “so amazing” for her mental and physical health.
“Oh yeah, it was so good for my mental and my physical. Obviously, being a pro wrestler, we have so many little injuries here and there so, I got to heal all of those and coming off of such a long title reign — I was the champion for, I believe, 302 days — that’s a long time. That’s almost a full year of just go, go, go, go, go. Whenever they expect you, you have to be there. Media appearances, wrestling. It was a lot the past couple of years, or the two past two years I’ve been on the main roster and just go, go, go. I didn’t have one Friday off. I was on TV every single week so, to just kind of slow down and I had just bought a house so I got to kind of be in my house, be in my own space… It was just so amazing for my mentality and also my physical as well.”
