Wrestling and combat sports streaming service TrillerTV recently announced that they have discontinued their AEW Plus subscription service and will no longer be distributing AEW pay-per-view events.
Besides AEW PPV events, it was also announced that Ring of Honor PPV events will also no longer be available to purchase on their service.
Official statement:
We’re writing to let you know that AEW Plus is being discontinued. AEW and ROH PPVs are also no longer available for purchase on TrillerTV.
If you have an active AEW Plus subscription, it will end on your next billing date. You’ll have full access until that date.
Any PPVs you’ve previously purchased will remain available to watch in your account.
Prior to the announcement, AEW Plus had been available on Triller since the service’s launch in 2019.
AEW had launched their own MyAEW streaming service this past March specifically for their international markets. This new service was rumored at the time to be AEW’s replacement for their AEW+ service on TrillerTV due to Triller dealing with serious financial-related issues.
