WWE Reportedly Held Staff Town Hall Meeting on 4/27 Reaffirming Commitment to Triple H as Head of WWE Creative

WWE reportedly held a new town hall meeting with their staff on Monday, according to Post Wrestling.

Brandon Thurston reported that his sources stated that WWE Nick Khan gave a speech during the meeting in support of WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque continuing in his role as head of creative.

Thurston reported that it is currently unclear if Khan’s comments “reflect a formal extension of Levesque’s employment contract or a less formal affirmation of his performance as head of creative.”

Khan reportedly also pushed back against online criticisms of WWE stating that it was coming from a “vocal minority.” Khan reportedly specifically cited the perception that WrestleMania 42’s Night 1 show was less well-received than the Night 2 show.

Khan reportedly also read multiple messages from around 2015, which Thurston speculated may have been tweets, that were critical of WWE’s product at that time. Khan reportedly appeared to be using the examples to argue that such online criticism towards WWE has historically proven to be unreliable.
