Stephanie Vaquer Addresses “Uncomfortable” Fan Encounter in New York City
WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer was involved in an incident with a fan this past Monday in New York City, New York.
In a now deleted tweet, this fan claimed on Twitter that Vaquer was “mean” to them and she was the only female WWE Superstar to not stop for them.
Vaquer responded on Twitter stating that the reason why she did not want to meet with the fan was due to this person acting disrespectful towards her after she had politely asked others that she was having a really bad day. Vaquer stated that this person followed her for a long time and had said hurtful things and made her feel uncomfortable.
“I always stop and I’m very kind to my fans. Yesterday was my birthday and I was honestly having a really bad day. Even so, I politely asked for understanding, and many people respected that. But you followed me for a long time, saying hurtful things and making me feel uncomfortable. I told you no multiple times, and you kept following me and recording. And now you’re posting this on social media. It’s sad to see people like you call themselves fans….

Ricky Saints Comments on Viral Photo with CM Punk, Jade Cargill, & Cody Rhodes Backstage at WWE Event
The New York Post held a recent interview with NXT talent Ricky Saints. One of the topics discussed included Saints’ thoughts about the viral photo that was taken of him, Jade Cargill, CM Punk, and Cody Rhodes backstage at the November 1, 2205 episode of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show in Salt Lake City, New York. This photo was notable for all four holding their respective championships in WWE at the time and for their past history together in AEW.
“That picture was not based on us wanting to prove a point or anything. I was there to see Jade (Cargill) have her match and it just happened that I saw Punk. It was all just circumstance. It wasn’t like a deliberate thing and Punk wanted a picture, so I said, ‘Hey, why not?’ I was there with my (NXT) title because I was also taking promo pictures. It just worked out. There was no ill will about it. We all know each other, we all like each other, and it was a cool moment. Look at us, we’re all champions right now. Whatever agenda people want to apply to it is up to them. I doubt anyone really cared over there (in AEW) or over here.”
