Mistico & El Desperado vs. Ichiban Sweet Boys for IWGP Jr. Tag Titles Set for NJPW Wrestling Dontaku 2026 Night 2

New Japan Pro Wrestling recently announced one newly updated match for the card of this Monday’s Wrestling Dontaku 2026 Night 2 event at the Fukuoka Convention Center in Fukuoka, Japan.

This newly updated match was an IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship match of Mistico & El Desperado vs. Ichiban Sweet Boys (Kosei Fujita & Robbie Eagles) (c).

This newly updated match was setup during Sunday’s Wrestling Dontaku 2026 Night 1 event following Mistico, El Desperado, Taichi, and Yuya Uemura defeating TMDK in an Eight-Man Tag Team match. Following the match, Mistico and El Desperado issued a challenge for Fujita and Eagles to put their IWGP Junior Tag Team titles on the line for their scheduled match at Night 2, which Fujita and Eagles accepted. It was announced afterwards that this match was made official for Night 2.
