As noted before, Rebel, real name Tanea Brooks revealed this past November that she was diagnosed with primary pulmonary lymphoma, which is a type of cancer in the lungs, and had been undergoing impatient rehab this past February. Rebel had announced this past week that she was also recently diagnosed with terminal ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis).
Saturday’s AEW Collision show in Peoria, Illinois featured a segment involving AEW commentators Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness offering words of support towards Rebel for her current battle with terminal ALS. Schiavone also mentioned all of the signs brought in by fans tonight at the show in support of Rebel, which led to the camera showing off several of them.
