Enzo Amore Reportedly Recently Attended WWE Performance Center
Former WWE talent Enzo Amore, also known as Real1 and nZo in the indies, reportedly was recently seen in attendance at WWE’s Performance Center, according to False Finish.
Cory Hays reported that his sources stated that Amore has been visiting the Performance Center recently and was in attendance ahead of Tuesday’s WWE NXT show at the place.
Amore previously worked in WWE from 2012 until his release in January of 2018 following allegations of sexual assault against him at the time. The Phoenix Police Department ceased their investigation into Amore in May of 2018 due to insufficient evidence to pursue charges against him.
Andreas Hale Says WWE Did Not Give Him Nor ESPN A Reason Why He Was Not Credentialed For WrestleMania 42
As noted before, ESPN reporter Andreas Hale revealed this past April that he was unable to cover WWE’s WrestleMania 42 event due to WWE had denied his media credentials and blocked his access for the event. Hale also stated that neither him nor ESPN were given a reason for WWE’s decision at the time, which led to online rumors of it being related to the low grade he gave to WWE’s Wrestlepalooza event and him covering the Janel Grant sex trafficking and abuse lawsuit against Vince McMahon.
A recent episode of the Off The Ropes podcast featured Hale as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Hale revealing that WWE still has yet to give him and ESPN a reason for their decision why he was not given credentials for WrestleMania 42.
“It was never approved for either day. I don’t know (what happened). I was never given a reason. I did everything I was supposed to do. I did my job as a reporter. I’ve covered pro wrestling for ESPN. I’ve written stories about Jey Uso heading into WrestleMania, Seth Rollins, John Cena, so on and so forth. The infamous match grades which we discussed the last time I was here, which had a big buzz on social media, and then all of a sudden, it was, ‘Your credentials not approved,’ and I was never given a reason why. We never found out why, and that’s kind of where it stood. It was a big shocker and yes, I tweeted about it and that caused an uproar but, how can ESPN’s reporter not be at WrestleMania without saying anything? So, the only thing I could say is what I said in that tweet: I don’t know what happened. Nobody gave me a reason. ESPN asked on behalf. We were never given a reason and that was that and I wasn’t at WrestleMania. I watched from home, in my city by the way. Again, I can’t tell you (a reason why it happened). The relationship between ESPN and WWE, all I could say is it’s above my pay grade. The answer is above my pay grade.”
