As noted before, Beyond Wrestling recently pulled AEW World Champion MJF from their Break The Walls Down event this Friday in Cranston, Rhode Island due to him suffering a hyperextended knee injury during his match against RUSH at Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Richmond, Virginia.
The Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez reported that his sources confirmed that MJF’s injury is legitimate and not a storyline one.
Alvarez reported that AEW officials are currently hopeful that MJF’s knee injury is not serious.
No other details were given regarding the cause nor if MJF will miss any action due to his injury.
