MJF Pulled from June 5 Beyond Wrestling Event Due to Knee Injury Suffered at June 3 AEW Dynamite Show
As noted before, current AEW World Champion MJF is set to be competing in his final match in the indies in the United States for the foreseeable future at Beyond Wrestling’s Break The Walls Down event this Friday in Cranston, Rhode Island.
Beyond Wrestling provided an update earlier today on Twitter announcing that they have pulled MJF from this Friday’s event due to him suffering a hyperextended knee injury during his match against RUSH for his title at Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Richmond, Virginia.
It was also announced that MJF had assured that he will wrestle for the company as soon as his schedule allows it.
“Unfortunately @The_MJF hyperextended his knee during his match last night & is not medically cleared to travel or compete. He will not be in Cranston tomorrow night but assured me he will wrestle for Beyond Wrestling as soon as his schedule allows. We wish him a speedy recovery.”
