A recent episode of the Busted Open Radio podcast featured co-host and WWE and TNA Hall of Famers Bully Ray giving his thoughts about his belief that the Death Riders have not helped AEW in any way and claimed he could “beat the shit” out of Jon Moxley in a real fight.
“The Death Riders have not helped AEW in any way, shape or form. The Death Riders are Jon Moxley playing out his pro wrestling fantasies because he’s got Tony’s ear. Because he wants to be Terry Funk? I would kick the sh*t out of Jon Moxley.”
Ray also gave his thoughts about how Claudio Castagnoli would pose a different challenge for a real fight but he could certainly handle Moxley and called him a fraud.
“But Moxley? I’d beat the living sh*t out of him. Fraud.”
Following the release of the episode, Josh Barnett, who is a longtime friend of Moxley, responded on Twitter offered Ray a real fight against him and stated that he would give Ray a “legendary ass kicking.”
“Interesting take here “Bully”.
Mox can handle himself just fine, so he doesn’t need me to fight any battles for him, but if you ever have the itch to feel what it would be like to have your ass kicked so thoroughly to the point of epic humiliation, I can help you with that.
I can not only “beat the shit out of you”, but do so in a way as to make your ass kicking legendary.
For you, any time. Just ask.”

Following Barrett’s comments, Ray responded on Twitter quoting an iconic phrase from Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus founder PT Barnum.
