Keith Lee AEW Abscense Update – Lee’s AEW Return Plans Reportedly Were Discussed Earlier This Year

As noted before, Keith Lee has been absent from AEW since December of 2023 and had underwent two surgeries for undisclosed issues in early 2024.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that AEW officials had discussed potential plans for Lee’s return to AEW programming “a number of months ago.” It was reported that it is currently not known if Lee was ever aware of these discussions within AEW.

It was reported that Lee has not been seen around backstage at shows to be cleared which is usually the beginning of a return process in AEW.
