Update:
WWE removed the listing for the September 4th WWE SmackDown taping from their official website earlier today.
WWE also removed the listing for the upcoming August 31st WWE RAW taping in Charlotte, North Carolina from their official website as well.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson speculated that the potential reason why WWE removed the August 31st WWE RAW taping listing could be due to the company updating their events schedule listing to include a double RAW taping in Charlotte that same day. Johnson speculated that WWE officials likely are giving their crew the following week off as a break for this year’s Labor Day holiday on September 7.
WWE cancelled their upcoming WWE SmackDown taping on September 4 at the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
This taping cancellation was first announced by Ticketmaster on their official website which stated “the event organizer had to cancel the event.”
Despite the cancellation, WWE’s official website currently still lists this upcoming show for Cincinnati.
The reason for the taping’s cancellation is currently not known.
