“Speedball” Mike Bailey vs. Kyle Fletcher for AEW International Title Set for AEW Grand Slam Mexico 2026

Sunday’s AEW Redemption event at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada featured “Speedball” Mike Bailey defeating The Beast Mortos, Nick Wayne, El Clon, Komander, and Jungle Jack Jack Perry in a #1 Contender Six-way Ladder match for the AEW International Championship.

In a follow-up segment, Bailey was interviewed by Lexy Nair for some words about his victory and announced that he wants to cash-in in his title shot at Grand Slam Mexico 2026 on August 5 at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico.

In a follow-up segment, it was announced that Bailey vs. Fletcher for the AEW International title is made official for Grand Slam Mexico 2026.

Maya World Wins TBS Title

Sunday’s AEW Redemption event also featured Maya World defeating Hikaru Shida to become the new TBS Champion.

This was World’s first-ever TBS Championship and also her first-ever championship victory in her AEW career.

Andrade El Idolo Wins AEW National Title

Sunday’s AEW Redemption event also featured Andrade El Idolo defeating Mark Davis to become the new AEW National Champion.

This was Andrade’s first-ever AEW National Championship and his first ever championship victory in his AEW career.

Willow Nightingale Wins AEW Women’s World Title

Sunday’s AEW Redemption event also featured Willow Nightingale defeating Thekla to become the new AEW Women’s World Champion.

As a result of her victory, Nightingale will now be defending her title against Mercedes Mone at this August’s All In 2026 event at Wembley Stadium in London, England.

This was Nightingale’s first ever AEW Women’s World Champion in her AEW careeer. Nightingale also becomes the first ever Women’s Grand Slam Champion in AEW history.
