Brock Lesnar’s Match With Oba Femi at WWE SummerSlam 2026 Reportedly Not Expected To Be His Last Match

As noted before, Brock Lesnar had initially teased his retirement from his in-ring wrestling career at WrestleMania 42 following his loss to Oba Femi at the event. Lesnar eventually returned this past May and continued his feud with Femi that included him defeating Femi in a match at that month’s Clash in Italy event. Lesnar is currently scheduled to be facing off against Femi for a third time in a Hell in a Cell match at this weekend’s SummerSlam 2026 event.

Lesnar’s return and continued feud with Femi has led to online speculation for some time that he could be officially retiring at SummerSlam due to the event taking place in his home state of Minnesota.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that people within WWE are currently not expecting Lesnar’s in-ring career to end at this weekend’s SummerSlam event.

One source spoken to reportedly stated that they would be surprised if Lesnar did not step away from WWE television for a while before returning for a program for WrestleMania 43 next year in Saudi Arabia.
