Kay Lee Ray (Alba Fyre) Comments on Her Post-WWE Run Being “It’s Good To Have Fun Again”

As noted before, Alba Fyre, also known as Kay Lee Ray in the indies, departed from WWE this past April following her contract not being renewed.

A recent virtual fan signing event for K & S WrestleFest featured Ray as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Ray’s thoughts about how her post-WWE career has gone so far.

“Have been in a contract for seven years with WWE. I was in a contract before that for a year. I think I just need to be me for a while. I think I need to just enjoy; gone back out on the indies and doing some stuff and see where we go from there. I’m having so much fun the past few months. It’s good to have fun again.”

Lucha De Apuestas Match Announced for CMLL 93rd Anniversary Event

Wednesday’s CMLL Informa show featured two new matches announced for the card of CMLL 93rd Anniversary event on September 18 at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico.

The first new match announced was a tag team match of Templario & Último Guerrero vs. Dragón Rojo Jr & Bárbaro Cavernario.

The second new match announced was a Lucha de Apuestas, Mask vs. Hair match of winner of Templario & Último Guerrero vs. Dragón Rojo Jr & Bárbaro Cavernario. It was announced that the winning team will face off against each other in a singles match and the loser of that match will lose their mask or hair.

Indies talent Ethan Allen announced on Twitter that he recently suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus injuries and will be out of action for the foreseeable future. Revolution Pro Wrestling responded giving their support to Allen for his recovery and stated that they will be making an announcement in the future regarding Allen’s scheduled tag team match with Luke Jacobs against FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) at their 14th Anniversary event on August 29 in London, England.

WrestleCon recently announced that they have pulled Skye Blue from their upcoming WrestleCon: Destination Minneapolis convention on July 31 to August 2 in Minneapolis, Minnesota due to undisclosed issues. It was announced that Maya World will be replacing Blue at their upcoming convention.

PRODUCE Wrestling announced that Drilla Moloney recently signed a multi-fight contract with the company.

PRODUCE also announced that LaBron Kozone is the next official competitor for the Royal Ranbo match at their PRODUCE Volume 3: Azucar event on August 3 in Brooklyn, New York.
