Grayson Waller Makes Surprise Return & Rants on His WWE Career, Austin Theory, Cruz Montana, NXT Men’s Roster, TNA, & Others
Tuesday’s WWE NXT show at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida featured Grayson Waller making a surprise return appearance to NXT.
At the start of the show, Waller came out to the ring to crash the show and grabbed a microphone. Waller proceeded to give a lengthy rant airing his grievances about his main roster career being an embarrassment and maybe he was too honest and didn’t kiss the right ass. Waller then brought up Austin Theory saying that he carried “240 pounds of idiot to make him relevant” and at the end of the day, that Marty Jannetty is afraid of the microphone.

Waller then turned his attention towards New Day and brought up all the silly stuff he did with the group that led to nowhere for him. Waller stated that he has been sitting in the back and in better shape than ever.
Waller then turned his attention towards Tony D’Angelo stating that he needs to win the NXT title since it was held by the best. Waller continued calling out Cruz Montana and mocking his new ring name and him claiming that there will be a shiny new toy in six weeks and Montana will be forgotten. Waller then proceeded to insult Mike Santana’s accomplishment as TNA World Champion saying being the best in TNA in 2026 is like being the best at the YMCA.

After some more words directed at D’Angelo, a production assistant told Waller to wrap it up, which Waller responded stating that he is not going anywhere. Waller then turned his attention to the NXT Men’s locker room calling the men’s roster being all soft and how the women’s division is running laps around them. Waller continued stating that 90% of the men’s roster thinks they should be called up to the main roster but he claimed maybe ten percent are ready but that it is the women. After some more words insulting the NXT men’s roster, Waller turned his attention towards indies wrestlers saying that he likes the indies but once you put a microphone in their hand, all of their aura goes all away.
Waller continued stating that Shawn is smiling because he is telling the truth and the NXT division is for the taking and none of you have done a thing about it. Waller stated he is going to take every opportunity because he says he is trying to remember who he is.

Los Perros del Mal Makes Surprise Appearance
Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured Los Perros del Mal’s Angel & Berto making a surprise appearance.
In recent weeks shows, OTM’s Lucien Price and Bronco Nima have been teasing a potential split over Price’s worries about Nima being associated with Perros del Mal of late and not giving a firm answer about what it means for their partnership.
During the show, Nima and Price were seen standing around backstage. This led to Perros’ Angel and Berto showing up and told Nima that they are here to show their support for fellow member Nima ahead of OTM’s tag team match on the show. Price responded back stating that he isn’t that excited to see them.
In a follow-up, near the end of the tag team match between OTM and Birthright’s Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo & Uriah Connors, Angel and Berto came out causing the rest of Birthright to confront them and Nima getting distracted. This led to Stacks and Connors hitting a double team High-Low to Price for the pinfall victory.

Following the match, Angel and Berto went into the ring as Nima consoled Price over their loss. This led to Prince not being happy seeing Perros again and Nima teasing him having to make a decision soon over where his loyalties are.

Julius Creed Makes Video Appearance
Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured Julius Creed making a surprise video appearance.
During the show, a video aired featuring NXT Women’s NXT Champion Kendal Grey talking about her upcoming NXT Underground match against Lola Vice for her title. Grey was seen training with her father and Creed. Grey praised Creed for him being the reason why she is in WWE.

Current Card for Next Week’s WWE NXT Show
Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured three new matches announced for the card of next week’s show on August 4 at Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Among the new notable matches announced was a WWE Speed Women’s Championship match of Zaria vs. Wren Sinclair (c).
This match was setup following a backstage segment involving NXT GM Robert Stone, NXT Women’s North American Champion Zaria, and Sinclair. Stone told Sinclair that if she successfully retains her title next week, then she will get a shot at Zaria’s title.
