Eight-Man Tag Team Match
Cage & Cope (Christian Cage & Adam Copeland) & The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) vs. Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, PAC & Daniel Garcia)

We kick off the show with our opening match as Cope enters first, sporting a lucha mask on the stage before heading to the ring as the crowd sings along with his theme song. Out next is Christian Cage to a great pop, and rounding out their team for tonight are the Young Bucks with a similar reaction as they get to the ring.

Out next are the Death Riders, making their way through an electric crowd showing favor for them despite their recent actions. Commentary talks about Moxley defending his title in the upcoming Continental Cup tournament as the Riders enter the ring, and we get this match underway!

We start off with Cage and PAC as Christian wrings the arms of PAC, only to take a sneak attack by Yuta on the apron. This quickly devolves into chaos as all six men rush in to go at it, but the Riders sans PAC get cleared out of the ring as Cage and the Bucks triple-team PAC in the corner with a kick and spear combo.

The action fully spills to the outside as the Bucks get into it with the remaining Riders, leading to a big dive from Cage as Cope watches on with a smile from the apron before we go to an ad break.

Back from break, the Riders have taken control as they take turns laying into Nick Jackson in the corner. German suplex by Garcia, who transitions to the Dragonslayer. Jackson manages to get free for a tag to Cope, who goes off on all of the Riders before sending Yuta, Garcia, and PAC out of the ring…only to take a cutter by Mox!

Cope manages to fight back, eventually setting Jon up on the ropes for a double tiger feint kick from Cope and Nick Jackson. Cage gets the drop on Mox next, followed by an elbow drop from Matt Jackson. The other Riders are kept out of the ring as Cage kicks Mox down low, setting up for a triple superkick from Cope and the Bucks.

Cage and the Bucks end up fighting the Riders on the outside as Cope looks for a spear on Moxley…but Shafir intervenes! This gets Cage involved as he confronts her on the outside. Marina slaps him in the face…and Christian responds by kicking Shafir down low as well! Shafir drops to the floor as Yuta comes running in for a Busaiku Knee on Cope. Nick comes in to even the numbers but Garcia takes him out.

Cope sends him out as well before catching Mox with a spear, but Yuta distracts the ref to stop a pin! Cope deals with that before Matt Jackson is sent into him. In the midst of all this, Mox rolls Adam up and takes the win!

Winner: Death Riders via Pinfall.

Death Riders take no real time for celebration as they leave through the crowd, the tecnicos regrouping in the ring to discuss what went wrong as commentary hypes up what else is to come tonight.

Video: Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay

We cut to a video package on Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay heading into their bout for the AEW World Championship at All In. The promo from last week is the main focus here, with Omega mad about happened at Redemption with the Death Riders. The promo (and video package) ends with Ospreay promising Kenny that when he’s ready to pull the trigger, Omega will see it coming.

Men’s Casino Gauntlet #1 Spot Three-way Match
Tommaso Ciampa vs. Komander vs. Andrade El Idolo

We head back to ringside to go straight to our next match, as Tommaso Ciampa stepping out with a robe/jacket type gimmick showing off the United States flag for that easy (one would even say cheap) heel heat on his way to the ring. Out next is Komander, who gets a really nice reception from the crowd on his way down the steps.

Rounding out the entrances is Andrade El Idolo, showing off a slight nod to his past as he looks ahead to the future on his way to the ring. The crowd is loud for the AEW National Champion as he enters the ring to get this match underway!

Slow start to the proceedings as Ciampa climbs the turnbuckle, mocking the crowd who boo him. He confronts Andrade back in the center, before blindsiding Komander to send him out of the ring. El Idolo catches him off guard, sending him to the corner before setting up for a Meteora.

Nothing doing as Komander sends him out of the ring before going at it with Tommaso, eventually sending him out of the ring for a rope walk into the spaceman dive. He brings Andrade back into the ring, but El Idolo goes at it with him before sending the luchador to the outside for a dive of his own. He poses with a fan in the front row as we go to ad break.

Back in the ring, Andrade and Ciampa go at it. Both men drop to the mat, with Ciampa rolling out of the ring for a breather as Andrade gives the people what they want…by bringing the pants out of the equation in the corner. He intercepts a returning Komander with a Three Amigos suplex chain, but Ciampa cuts him off when he climbs the turnbuckle. Tommaso also sends Komander out of the ring before…stomping away at El Idolo’s pants!? He goes so far as to hit a Project Ciampa on the attire and covers it for a “pin” before Komander comes back in the ring.

Ciampa lays out the luchador before going up top, but in comes El Idolo as the pair fight it out on the turnbuckle. Andrade gets shoved off as Komander comes in, only to be dropped hard by Tommaso for a nearfall. Ciampa argues with the ref, retreating to the corner before Andrade comes running in with a Meteora!

Komander goes after the National Champion, who looks to hit Dia de los Muertos…only for Ciampa to end up taking the hit instead! Andrade is fought off as Komander lands a ropewalk shooting star press for the cover…but El Idolo breaks the pin before dropping Komander with a DM for the win!

Winner: Andrade El Idolo via Pinfall.

After the match, Andrade cuts a promo in Spanish and English addressing the crowd and telling them that he will win the Casino Gauntlet and win the AEW World Championship, not only for himself but for his fans and Mexico. For anyone who thinks otherwise, he has a question: how you know?

The crowd cheers big style for El Idolo, but that is cut short as MJF’s music hits…and the former World Champion slides into the ring for a sneak attack with his Triple B belt! He grabs his Dynamite Diamond Ring back from Andrade before landing a shot with that as well. MJF brings El Idolo out of the ring, yelling at him about taking what’s Max’s before slamming him into the barricade.

It appears Andrade is busted open, with officials checking on him as MJF comes back into the ring with a microphone. He demands that someone takes that piece of trash Andrade (from “this piece of s–t country”) out of his arena before running down the fans. He also addresses what he considers to be unfair treatment at Beach Break when Kenny Omega beat him for the title “thanks to Will Ospreay” before saying he will enter and win the qualifying match in Vegas.

He promises to go on and win the title shot again, and do exactly what he did before. Whoever comes out of All In as the champion, MJF looks to remind everyone that he is the one TRUE champion. He raises his Triple B as his music hits, and MJF rushes his way through the crowd who start to get into it with him as we cut away.

We go to a video package on the Women’s World Championship bout between Willow Nightingale and Mercedes Moné.

Trios Match
Mercedes Mone & Divine Dominion (Lena Kross & Megan Bayne) vs. Willow Nightingale & The Brawling Birds (Alex Windsor & Jamie Hayter)

Mercedes refuses to get in the ring with Willow as Megan Bayne starts things off with her instead. Despite an early advantage by Bayne, Willow is able to fight back long enough to tag in Alex Windsor. Lena Kross comes in for an assist before Willow tags back in, only to be blindsided by Moné. She goes for a Three Amigos but things quickly break down as all six women get into it. A chain suplex leads to the tag champs being taken to the outside.

There, Windsor and Nightinagle land a pair of cannonball sentons as Hayter sends Mercedes to the outside. She goes up top and lands a cross body on all three of her opponents as we go to an ad break.

Back in the ring are Moné and Willow, with the champ taking her future challenger down hard. Chaos quickly ensues as Divine Dominion and the Brawling Birds fight it out, with Bayne being sent out before Hayter gets the drop on Kross. Windsor gets a blind tag and the cover, but Bayne breaks up the pin by shoving Hayter into her.

Birds and Dominion slug it out when they get back on their feet, and the Birds hit the ropes for a clothesline. The tag champs duck it but get taken down by the Birds anyway. In come Willow and Mercedes to fight some more, with a chain of offense from each of the six women leading to a Death Valley Driver from Willow to Bayne.

She turns her attention to Mercedes on the turnbuckle, who fights her way out before taking a clothesline from the champ. Speaking of champs, Divine Dominion stop her from going after Moné before the Birds send them out of the ring. Moné escapes the Babe with the Powerbomb, but Willow counters out of a Money Maker for a backslide victory!

Winner: Willow Nightingale & The Brawling Birds via Pinfall.

The trio celebrates on the ramp as we get a graphic confirming that the Brawling Birds will face Divine Dominion at All In for the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship. The champs and Moné stare down their opponents from inside the ring as commentary hypes up All In coming back to Wembley Stadium.

AEW International Championship
“Speedball” Mike Bailey vs. Kyle Fletcher (c)

No video package ahead of time as we stay at ringside for our next match, with “Speedball” Mike Bailey making his entrance first for this International Championship match, showing off a lucha mask before heading to the ring. Out next is Kyle Fletcher, a mask of his own shown before the champ gets to the ring to get this match underway!

Early flurry of offense from Speedball as he tries to take the champ off his game, but only gets a nearfall as a result. Crowd is thrilled by what’s going down as Bailey grabs the hand of the champ, walking the ropes for a headscissors sending Fletcher out of the ring. Mike goes for a dive but gets caught in mid-air by the champ…who practically launches Bailey like a lawn dart into the guardrail! Don Callis getting some hate from the crowd as Fletcher brings his challenger back into the ring.

He goes for a powerbomb but Bailey counters, eventually sending Kyle out of the ring. He gets a dive on Fletcher before going up top, but the champ stops him by coming back into the ring…only to take some hard kicks from Speedball, who follows with a shooting star press off the canvas for a nearfall. The action heads to the corner as Bailey catches the champ by surprise, only to be dropped to the mat with an avalanche Michinoku Driver!

The champ gets a close two count for this, with Bailey rolling out of the ring as we go to an ad break.

Despite returning to the ring, Bailey is quickly sent back out by the champ…who gets caught on a dive to the outside, sent into the guardrail himself this time! Bailey gets back to his feet, bringing Fletcher back into the ring. He hits the ropes, dodging an attack by the champ to pin him down for a two count.

Fletcher gets back into it, dropping Bailey hard before looking for a brainbuster. Mike gets sent to the outside for trying to break free, landing on the ramp. Fletcher brings the challenger to his feet before walking him to the entrance stairs…but Bailey counters out of a suplex attempt, eventually dropping Fletcher to the ramp instead!

Now it’s the challenger in control as he brings Kyle back to the ring, getting the drop on him for a close two count. Both men get to their feet, but Kyle is taken to the corner with a thrust kick…only to fight back with a Michinoku Driver for a nearfall. As all this is going down we get on and off “este lucha (this is wrestling)” chants.

The action spills out to the outside, where Fletcher drops the challenger on the apron with a powerbomb before bringing him back into the ring. Brainbuster connects, but Bailey manages to kick out at two! Fletcher can’t seem to believe it as he goes after Bailey in the corner, only for Speedball to fend him off before landing Ultima Weapon on the champ.

Bailey with the cover, but this time it’s the champ with a surprise kickout. Bailey brings him to his feet, but Kyle breaks free before sending Bailey into the turnbuckle face first. He follows up with a turnbuckle brainbuster, and it’s enough to get the win and retain!

Winner: Kyle Fletcher via Pinfall to retain the AEW International Championship.

Fletcher celebrates the win alongside Don Callis, but this is interrupted by the arrival of Kazuchika Okada. The Rainmaker is in action next as he makes his entrance, having a slight staredown with Fletcher on the latter’s way up the ramp before Okada enters the ring. Making his entrance next is Hechicero, followed by Kevin Knight.

Trios Match
Don Callis Family (“The Jet” Kevin Knight, Hechicero, & Kazuchika Okada) vs. Mistico, Chris Jericho, & Darby Allin

Entering first for the tecnicos is Mistico, the crowd singing along with his absolute banger of a theme as the CMLL and ROH champion makes his way down the steps. Out next is Jericho, introduced as “Corazon de Leon” as a nod to his days in Mexico as the crowd sings along with his theme. Jericho enters the ring as Darby Allin rounds out the entrances for his team to get this match underway!

By that I mean Kevin Knight dives over the top rope onto Darby on the ramp, while the other four men go at it in the ring. Darby gets sent to the floor below as Hechicero goes after Mistico, with Okada stomping away at Jericho in the corner.

Okada is preoccupied with mocking the crowd, and this allows Jericho to fight back until Okada drops him with a dropkick. Knight comes in now, sending Jericho to the ropes before Jericho fights back for a Death Valley Driver. Tag made to Darby, and Knight backs off to the corner for a tag to Hechicero. Darby dodges a clothesline to send Kevin off the apron before dropping Hechicero.

He sees an opening and goes for a dive through the ropes on Knight…but Okada intercepts, dropping Allin to the floor as we go to ad break!

Darby and Knight are back in the ring as Darby gets a tag to Mistico. Hechicero is joined by Okada in beating down Mistico to a wave of boos. Mistico fends them off before landing a rope walk headscissors on Knight, but only gets a two count. Tag made to Darby, who takes Knight to the mat for a Scorpion Deathlock. Jericho goes for a Walls of Jericho on Okada, but Hechicero breaks it up before Mistico sends him to the ropes.

He goes for a tiger feint kick but gets caught by Hechicero, but he gets sent to the outside as Darby and Jericho land dives on Okada and Knight on the outside. Darby comes back into the ring but is cut off by Knight, who sets Darby up in a tree of woe. He goes for a Coast to Coast but gets caught with a Judas Effect by Jericho!

Jericho stops Okada from doing a dropkick and locks in the Liontamer, while Mistico lands a headscissors on Hechicero setting up for La Mistica. Darby hits a Coffin Drop on Kevin Knight, and that gets the win for his team!

Winner: Mistico, Chris Jericho, & Darby Allin via Pinfall.

The trio celebrates their win.

Video: Persephone, Kris Statlander

We get a video package looking at how we got to Persephone taking on Kris Statlander tonight at Grand Slam Mexico!

Kris Statlander vs. Persephone

Back at ringside we get entrances for Kris Statlander and Persephone, the crowd favoring the CMLL World Women’s Champion as we get this match underway!

The action goes back and forth at first, before Kris gets sent to the outside. She goes into it with the champ on the outside before bringing Persephone back into the ring. Stat gets onto the apron but is knocked to the floor by Persephone, who lands a dive sending her down hard before having a confrontation with Thunder Rosa in the front row.

She brings Stat back into the ring to continue the attack, cinching in a sleeper hold. Stat tries to fight out of it but to no avail as we head to ad break.

Both women are back in the ring with Kris taking the champ down hard. She goes for a Wednesday Night Fever but Persephone breaks free, only for Stat to catch her with a seatbelt cradle for a two count. Persephone back on her feet as she sends Kris to the mat, but Statlander manages to fight back before going up top for a 450 splash. Persephone manages to dodge it, taking advantage of a crash landing by Stat for a nearfall.

Persephone leaves the ring to confront Thunder Rosa, who is bragging about being the Mexican National Champion before Persephone tries to pull that title away from her. The ref intervenes, only for Stat to crash into all three of them! She brings Persephone back into the ring but can’t get a pin as the ref is still knocked out.

This allows Hikaru Shida to sneak into the ring with the Mexican National Championship, which she uses to blindside Statlander. Persephone takes advantage with a springboard splash, which keeps Kris down long enough for the ref to come back into the ring to make the three count as Persephone gets the win.

Winner: Persephone via Pinfall.

Persephone leaves the ring to celebrate while Shida looks to beat up Stat some more, before Maya World and Hyan come to her aid.

AEW World Trios Championship
The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly (Hangman Adam Page, Bandido, & Brody King) vs. The Demand (Toa Liona, Bishop Kaun, & Ricochet) (c)

Hangman and Brodido get a special entrance with minis and a mariachi band on their way to the ring for our next match. The Demand make their entrance, and with that we get things underway!

We start off with Page and Liona brawling in the ring while the other four go at it on the floor. This goes on until King comes in to aid page against the Gates of Agony, bringing them down hard with a double arm drag. Tag made to Bandido now, and Brody stops the Gates from coming back in the ring as Hangman and Bandido hit baseball slides on them followed by an assisted dive for Bandido.

Bandido comes back inot the ring, looking to get his buddies to join him for the Macarena…but the Demand blindside them, with a turnbuckle backbreaker sending Bandido to the floor as we go to ad break.

Back from break, we see Kaun send Bandido to the ramp while Page connects with a boot on Ricochet. He hits a triangle lariat on Toa before catching Ricochet for a fall away slam followed by a plancha onto Toa.

(Feed issues means that I will have to fill this part back in as soon as I can, sorry folks!)

Winner: The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly via Pinfall to become the new AEW World Trios Champions.

The new champions celebrate as we go to commercial, with our main event coming up next!

Mexico City Street Fight Match
Mark Davis vs. Will Ospreay

Back at ringside, Will Ospreay makes his entrance for our main event. Out comes Mark Davis, and we’re getting things underway immediately as they go at it on the ramp!

A chair comes into play for a moment as they fight it out on the floor. Ospreay manages to get back into the ring for a dive that sends Davis into the guardrail. He lays in a couple more shots before walking around the ring, where he finds a tire. That’s right, a tire, and he brings it over to Davis…who kicks him aside before using the tire on the Aerial Assassin! Ospreay manages to fight back, sending his former United Empire teammate away before charging from the crowd for a dive over the guardrail.

He brings Davis back into the ring, but only gets a two count. Davis grabs the chair away from Ospreay, slamming it on his back. He goes for it again but Will dodges it, landing a kick that sends the chair away. The fight spills to the outside where Mark sends Ospreay to the floor with a powerbomb, before walking around the ring to put some chairs in the ring. He grabs the trashcan nearby and throws it at Ospreay…before hoisting him up for a powerbomb that launches Will into (what we’re told is) a fan in the front row!

Davis grabs some more plunder, tossing it into the ring as we go to ad break.

The fight has gone onto the stage as we come back, where Davis sends Ospreay rolling down the stairs onto the ramp. Davis continues this attack as he brings Will back into the ring, using chairs and other tools to bust Ospreay open. He props Will onto one of the chairs, using a nearby fork to dig into the head.

He hits the ropes for what I assume is a cannonball, but Ospreay dodges to send Davis face first into the chair with a drop toe hold. He lands a cutter to keep on the attack, before grabbing the fork to jab Davis in the forehead this time. He heads to the corner for a Hidden Blade, but Mark takes him out with a lariat instead.

He hoists Ospreay up, dropping him seemingly on his neck onto a chair with barbed wire on it…but it’s only good for a two count, surprisingly! Dunkzilla grabs the wire off the chair, looking to wrap it around his arm…and this allows Ospreay a chance to fight back as he intercepts a lariat attempt with a chair right to the face!

He gets Davis onto the apron, but Mark fights back as he looks for a pendulum piledriver. Dunkzilla grabs the wire again…only for Ospreay to land a piledriver that sends Davis onto the hardest part of the ring! Davis drops to the floor, only narrowly beating the ref’s count to get back into the ring.

Davis goes after Ospreay, who catches him with a crucifix pin for two. Davis dodges a kick for a big driver, but the cover only gets him another nearfall. He wraps the wire around his arm for a lariat, but who counters into a Styles Clash…but Davis kicks out!

Ospreay goes back on the attack with diving elbow strikes before wrapping the barbed wire around Mark’s neck, adding a nasty twist on a Hidden Blade for the win.

Winner: Will Ospreay via Pinfall.

Ospreay takes a while to get back to his feet as the ref raises his arm in victory. He celebrates the win as commentary hypes up the lineup to come this weekend and beyond before Dynamite comes to a close.
