As noted before, WWE recently announced that next year’s Royal Rumble event will be taking place in Glendale, Arizona. No actual date was given for the event as part of the announcement beyond it taking place in February of 2027.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE officials currently have scheduled for next year’s Royal Rumble event to be a one-night show.
It was reported that those spoken to stated that WWE officials currently have significant interest in eventually turning their annual Royal Rumble event into a multi-night event in the future.
This would join WrestleMania and SummerSlam as major events that WWE currently holds as annual two-night events since 2020 for WrestleMania and 2025 for SummerSlam.
