Celebration Of Life For ‘The Butcher’ Andy Williams Set For September 27 In Buffalo

As noted before, former AEW wrestler The Butcher, real name Andy Williams, passed away this past Sunday following a medical emergency incident at an indie event for Enjoy Wrestling this past Saturday in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Enjoy Wrestling issued an official statement on Monday providing some details regarding Williams’ medical emergency and the belief from medics on site that he had suffered a cardiac arrest. Ring of Honor held a memorial tribute to Williams prior to the start of Tuesday’s ROH TV tapings in Jacksonville, Florida.

The city of Buffalo, New York will be hosting a celebration of life for “The Butcher” Andy Williams on September 27.

The service’s organizer Steve Micciche stated that this upcoming service will be free to attend and all proceeds generated from the “I Love Andy” and “Andy Williams Forever” merchandise shirts and donations will be donated by Williams’ family to various organizations and charities of their choice.
