Goldman Sachs held a Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference 2026 event on Tuesday featuring TKO COO Mark Shapiro as one of the guests. One of the topics discussed included Shapiro revealing that WWE is currently in talks with The Walt Disney Company to hold “special events” together in 2027.
“Remember, WWE is a different audience than the UFC, and when it comes to going after families, that’s our audience, and I think advertisers are starting to see that. Frankly, I’m excited for 2027 because we’re working with The Walt Disney Company on some special events around Disney and WWE and bringing those two audiences together since, of course, what do they have in common? Family.”
WWE has been working together with The Walt Disney Company through their partnership with ESPN for WWE PLEs and cross-branded content on ESPN shows since 2025.
