Triple H on Upcoming WWE Tryout In Hawaii & Future Plans For WWE In Hawaii

As noted before, WWE is currently scheduled to be holding a WWE Live Events tour on October 16-17 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Besides the upcoming live events, WWE will also be holding new talent tryouts in Hawaii as part of this upcoming tour.

KHON2 News held a recent interview with WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque. One of the topics discussed included Levesque’s thoughts about WWE’s upcoming live events tour of Hawaii and plans to return regularly to Hawaii for shows in the future.

“It’s gonna be amazing. I can tell you every superstar in the WWE has been calling and asking us to be on this card. They’re chomping at the bit to get there to Hawaii. This is exciting for us, this isn’t a one time deal. We’re not just coming there now, we’re going to be coming there on a regular basis. We’re going to make sure that we have our feet back on the ground in Hawaii where they always should’ve been, where our roots are. That’s why we are looking for that next generation too, we want to ensure that the pacific islands remain a home for us for years to come.”

Levesque also gave his thoughts about WWE’s decision to hold a talent tryout in Hawaii.

“Hawaii has such a rich tradition for us, our roots are firmly planted there from The Rock to his grandfather, Peter Maivia. Don Muraco coming from there. The history of WWE runs through Hawaii and there are so many amazing athletes in the pacific islands. There are so many big personalities in the pacific islands. We are thrilled to be coming there and trying to find the next WWE superstar. You see it today all over everything we do, from Nia Jax to Roman Reigns to The Usos. You see the imprint of the pacific islands, we want to go look for that next generation. We believe that they’re there. Everybody just has to be willing to come and show out for us and we’ll take it from there.”
