Bayley Reflects on 18th Anniversary Of Her Wrestling Career
Bayley reflected on Instagram about today being the 18th anniversary of the official debut of her pro wrestling career.
“Today my wrestling career turns 18. The same age I was when I started wrestling. You’re legal baby!
I’ve spent the last 2 weeks traveling through South America and Mexico, to running a Lodestone reunion in Texas. I’m still having some of the greatest moments of my career, all these years in. I’ve surrounded myself with people who make me laugh, embrace the journey, and constantly push themselves to be a little better everyday. That fuels my heart ❤️
I have too many words to say what I’m feeling today. But I’m very grateful for every match, every coffee, every locker room fire up, every plane ride, car ride, bus ride, conversation, tear, and everything in between. How lucky am I to still live and LOVE this childhood dream?”
Bayley made her official in-ring debut for Big Time Wrestling and has been with WWE since December of 2012.
WWE Reportedly Planned To Give WWE ID Deal To Brooke Havok After Her Tryout at SummerSlam 2026 Weekend
WWE held new talent tryouts during this past August’s SummerSlam 2026 weekend in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Among those who were invited and participated in the tryouts was indies talent Brooke Havok. Havok is currently out of action due to her recently suffering a torn ACL and meniscus injuries.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE officials had internally planned to give Havok to a WWE ID contract following this past August’s SummerSlam tryouts.
It was reported that it is currently not known if Havok had signed a WWE ID deal prior to her torn ACL injury but those spoken to within WWE stated that the company did have big plans for her.
Chelsea Green Comments on Nick Aldis Helped Write Her Promo at Aug. 14th WWE SmackDown Show
A recent episode of the NotSam Wrestling podcast featured WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Green’s thoughts about the orbital bone injury she suffered on the August 7th WWE SmackDown show and her emotional promo segment with SmackDown GM Nick Aldis on the August 14th show that led to Green not having to relinquish her title and getting 30 days to get cleared.
“It was definitely bigger than whatever was to come. I think we all felt where it was going that week after SummerSlam where I had a very lame promo and it kind of led into a couple of lame moments. Then, that broken orbital bone was the best thing that could’ve ever happened to me because of that promo.”
Green also gave her thoughts about her praise of Aldis for helping her write the promo and also the follow-up promo a couple of weeks later.
“Nick and I spent a lot of time on that promo. I’m very thankful for Nick Aldis because he helped me write that one and he helped me write the follow up a couple of weeks later. It hit because we were able to go through the emotions and change of pace and the ride we wanted to take them on. ‘What’s the angle, but how do we get there making them think we’re going to take it off me?’ That’s the crucial moment in that promo.”
