Sheamus Wrestling Career Future Update – Sheamus Reportedly Expected To Get Interest From AEW

As noted before, Sheamus departed from WWE this past July following him turning down WWE’s offer for a restructured contract extension deal. Sheamus’ contract with WWE officially expired on October 1.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Sheamus is currently expected to draw interest from AEW now that he is a free agent.

One source spoken to reportedly stated that a handful of people within AEW are in favor of Sheamus joining their company.

Prior to his departure from WWE, Sheamus had last wrestled in November of 2025.
