WWE has released an estimate of 107,000 buys for the Extreme Rules pay-per-view in May. This is down from last year’s 209,000, but there are some good reasons for that.
The event was streamed on the WWE Network and some cable companies, along with DirecTV and Dish Network, did not carry it. Even with this disadvantage it still had 40,000 buys in North America.
