As previously reported, Trump Plaza is expected to close its doors in September. While that site was referred to as the site of WrestleMania IV and V, there was some confusion that we’re happy to correct.
The shows were billed as being from Trump Plaza but were actually held at Boardwalk Hall next door to the actual Trump Plaza. Boardwalk Hall is owned and operated by another entity and while Trump Plaza (which partnered with WWE for the shows) will be shutting down, the venue itself will not and WWE has a house show set for late September.
We apologize for the misinformation.
