Several “Blast Areas” were unable to get the first 30-minutes of last night’s Royal Rumble PPV, due to issues with DirectTV. It looks as if all commercial accounts using DirectTV had the issue at the beginning of the show.
Darius Rucker of Hootie and the Blowfish fame is currently opening for Rascal Flats on his tour. Rucker’s opening video is by Ric Flair, who puts over Rucker as his friend.
No announcement was made to the live crowd about WrestleMania 27 coming to Atlanta. It was saved for the presser today.
As noted before, WWE star Curt Hawkins worked as a color commentator at the recent WWE developmental TV tapings. Hawkins said on Twitter that it wasn’t a tryout but just a one time deal.
