— WWE Hall Of Famer Trish Stratus has signed on to join the cast of the Canadian action thriller “Gridlocked,” which co-stars Danny Glover of “Lethal Weapon” fame.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Stratus will play the role of Gina, a lead member of a SWAT team. The film itself is centered around an actor shadowing a former SWAT leader.

The official IMDB page for the film offers the following synopsis:

“A former S.W.A.T leader and the arrogant movie star shadowing him must organize the surviving members of a training facility against a team of mercenaries who have seized the compound in an attempt to access valuables held within.”
