Alberto Del Rio appeared on talk shows in Mexico today and revealed that he can’t wrestle in the US for a year. Del Rio acknowledged that he had a confrontation with a WWE employee but did not give any details on it as he claims to have lawyers involved.
This likely means he was in breach of his WWE contract, which means that they’re no longer paid the remainder of the contract and that as a penalty, they are unable to compete in professional wrestling or MMA for a one year period.
