As previously reported, WWE is moving SummerSlam from Los Angeles to New York for the first time in seven years next year. According to sources, the show will most likely be run in Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey or perhaps MetLife Stadium but that’s a long shot.
The feeling within the company right now is that it’s too expensive to run major shows in Madison Square Garden compared to the other arenas.
