Lucha Underground filmed their third episode last night in Los Angeles and according to a source at the event, the show aimed for a much more “Lucha” theme after the first two episodes were criticized for not having enough of that. As previously reported, part of the problem was that three of their Lucha performers hadn’t been able to work because their visas hadn’t come through.
The episode was main evented by a three-way match between Fenix Jr., Drago and Pentagon Jr. It was described as “off the charts.” El Hijo Del Fantasma worked the taping as well under a new gimmick. Another episode tapes tonight.
