The Miz recently spoke with AL.com about his video package at WrestleMania 27. Here are the highlights…

On His WrestleMania 27 Video: “I would say it is the coolest video I have ever seen in WWE history,” Miz said. “It took you back and made you see my life. People hated me because I was off a reality show. They said I had no talent. I shouldn’t be here. I’d be fired in three months. My goal was to prove them all wrong. And that video, that moment, allowed me to shove it back in their faces. And I think people actually respected that.”

Was it His Idea?: “No actually, WWE has an amazing team that really put together something special for me and did a great job,” he said. “You know, I’ve always tried to tell them my history. I’ve always been very vocal about who I am and where I come from and how I got here. It’s all about respect not just from your peers in the locker room but from the WWE Universe as well. The only way you get that is by people knowing your past rather than assuming.”
