TNA Wrestling and Jeff Jarrett’s Global Force Wrestling are said to be talking to the same networks about a television deal. However, the situation isn’t good for either as very few networks are interested in adding wrestling.
TNA may have an advantage as its an active company, has daily operations and has been around for 12 years with several names under contract. GFW, being a new company, will have a harder time finding a deal. Spike TV deciding not to renew iMPACT could have had an effect on both companies getting new deals.
TNA is rumored to be talking with networks that don’t air in Canada. Spike TV airs in most of Canada and had strong ratings from the country. As previously reported, WGN seems to be the frontrunner.
