As previously reported, Rey Mysterio was backstage at the recent Luncha Underground TV taping. According to a source, Mysterio was a guest of John Fogelman at the show and was taken out to dinner afterward.
Fogleman is one of the founders of the El Rey Network, which is home to Lucha Underground. WWE officials were reportedly furious that news leaked about Mysterio being backstage at another company’s shows. As we’ve reported, Mysterio has been hinting that he will be leaving WWE when his contract is up and has made allusions to signing with AAA, who are involved with Lucha Underground.
