More On Why Justin Roberts Was Released From WWE

There are now several possible reasons out there about why ring announcer Justin Roberts was released after RAW on Monday night. John Bradshaw Layfield has already denied the rumor that it involved an argument with Michael Cole at ringside.

One report says that Roberts told those close to him that it was a business decision. The report suggests that Roberts and WWE couldn’t agree on the money side of a new deal. Another report claims that WWE told Roberts that they wanted to go in a new direction with the ring announcers.

Eden Stiles is the most likely candidate to replace Roberts. JoJo has also been considered. Lilian Garcia will stay on Smackdown.
