RAW Recap News – The Ascension, New Champs, D-Bryan, Edge

— The Usos defeated The Miz and Damien Mizdow to regain the WWE Tag Team Titles on the show.

— As covered in our RAW report, Daniel Bryan made his big announcement on Raw. Bryan teased retirement and talked about how he had spoken with other WWE Superstars who have been in career-ending injury situations.

When he asked the fans if his career was over they chanted “NO!” He then agreed with them and said that he is back and ready to fight, and will be competing in the 2015 Royal Rumble.

— The Ascension made their debut on RAW when The Miz and Damien Mizdow came out toward the end of the show, demanding a rematch against the Usos after losing the Tag Team Titles earlier in the night. Instead of that, the Ascension came out and got a quick win with a Fall of Man on Damien Mizdow.

— As noted earlier here on the website, it was announced on RAW that Santino Marella will host a New Year’s Eve party on this week’s episode of WWE Main Event. The episode airs live tonight on the WWE Network.

— Also on RAW, the first-ever Cutting Edge Peep Show with Edge and Christian was announced. The two will host the segment with Bray Wyatt and Dean Ambrose serving as the special guests on this week’s WWE SmackDown broadcast.

— As noted earlier here on the website, it was announced on RAW that Bray Wyatt vs. Dean Ambrose will face off again, this time in an Ambulance Match. To win, Wyatt or Ambrose must take their opponent to the ambulance, load him in the back, close the door and drive away.

— As noted earlier here on the website, Edge was wearing a Sami Zayn T-Shirt on RAW for those who didn’t notice, showing his support for the NXT champion.
