Despite the negative reaction to last night’s Royal Rumble, it doesn’t appear as if as many people are cancelling their WWE Network subscriptions. Several sources say that while there were some who have cancelled, it is not being considered as a “significant number internally.”
The belief is that most of the online buzz, including the hashtag that was trending on Twitter, was more fans voicing their anger about the Rumble match and how it played out. It is also being reported that there weren’t widespread issues with the feed and that the reported buffering issues appear to be more localized, as opposed to a problem with the feed itself.
