UFC star Wanderlei Silva has confirmed Chael Sonnen’s claims that he has received an offer from WWE to go to WrestleMania. Or at least, that he’s had some kind of contact with WWE. Silva posted the following to his Facebook page:

WWE has denied that they made any invitation to Chael Sonnen, but as previously reported there is said to be a meeting set between them at WrestleMania. Whether this is for an on-air talent position or something else isn’t known.
WWE has responded to the reports, denying that Sonnen’s claim:
“There has been no invitation from WWE for Chael Sonnen to attend WrestleMania.”
